Mission

New Beginning Support Coordination will teach and assist individuals with an intellectual and developmental disability to navigate their community in order to get individuality services and supports which will continue to teach them to live an everyday life, having meaningful relationships, and being valued as a citizen in their community.

Bio On The Owner

The owner of the agency has been working in the social service field since 1998. His first state job was working as a Cottage Trainee Tech with DDD individuals. He enjoyed helping them maintain there independence as well learn other daily living activities. In 2009 he decided to further his career by landing another state job position as an Assistant Family Service Worker II. He recently decided to open New Beginning Support Coordination because his heart was still tied to helping individuals with a disability to live an everyday life.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. This is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Our objective is to offer free daily life activities  in the community for individuals with their unique needs to actively engage in their areas of interest. Whether an individual needs to learn how to cook, catch public transportation, shop, learn money management, or fill out job application.

Support Coordination 

Support Coordination is the service of locating, developing, coordinating and accessing supports,  and services on behalf individuals who have an intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We also can assist individuals and their families to access supports and services on their own. The following counties we provide support coordination are Union, Somerset, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington and Mercer.  Learn more about our work by getting in touch with our team today.

Respite Care

Involves short term or temporary care for intellectual and/or developmental disabilities for a few hours or weeks. This service is designed to provide relief to the regular caregivers. The following counties we provide respite care are Cumberland, Atlantic, Cape May, Monmouth and Ocean.

Individual Supports and Community Based Supports 

Involves teaching or assisting with an intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with there activities of daily living such as preparing meals, managing medicines, grocery shopping, and managing money so that the individuals can live independently in the community. We service the following counties Cumberland, Atlantic, Cape May, Monmouth and Ocean.
